The FDA recently approved Zubsolv (buprenorphine / naloxone) sublingual tablets for the treatment of opioid addiction. Because of its unique formulation these tablets contain a vastly reduced amount of buprenorphine per dose but studies show efficacy to be equal to higher-dose Suboxone products.

I currently use Suboxone Film and have no interest in switching therapies, but it's nice to know the pharmaceutical market is expanding its arsenal to help those of us struggling with opioid addictions.
