June 4th/2010 I decided to quit Suboxone, here I am, 2 years later and I'm clean. I had 4 slips along the way, technically, I just passed 6 months clean this past Friday.

Anyhow, if any of you had told me 2 years ago that I would be off drugs and have this much clean time, I would have laughed so hard that I would have pee'd my pants. Some mornings I still wake up, crack one eye open, look around and wonder, "is this real, am I really off drugs?" lol

It's been a long road, but SO worth it.

Two years already? It is hard to believe you were able to pull this one off my addict friend. You remain a good example of how life goes on without Suboxone. So many say it can't be done or it's just not worth the w/d's, but you sure showed 'em, didn't ya?

Congrats on your 2 year (okay, six months) clean time. It has been 2 years off Sub though so that is a very important fact.

You Rock dude!

Your stories a ray of hope, well done man.
And those shared slips show that recovery has to be given the highest priority in an addicts life, regardless of what the world may hurl at you.
