HAPPY EASTER......
I know its not a big holiday....But I think it has a huge meaning for me nowadays.

See, I have almost ONE year, on suboxone, with no slips at all. Im not really sure how I got to this point, A LOT of hard work, and many hours of soul searching is all I know for sure.

I hope all of you have someone to share the holiday with. We should all be thankful, that we're still here, becuase so many of us, dont make it.

Last Easter, I was about a week into suboxone, and I was still sweating/shitting out the methadone/dillaud/morphine/etc
It was awful.
My family was as supportive as they could be. I was looking at some pics today, and the ring around my shirt at dinner was wet with sweat. Man, Im glad that crap's over!!!

Ive come so far, personally, spiritually, financially. It wasnt untill about 4 months ago, it all kinda 'came together'
I was still feeling, like, What the hell am I doing?? why dont I just give up, I dont see any changes, and this is just too fucking hard!!!

Im glad I sucked it up, and made it a few more days. I HAVE seen changes, for real now.
Dont get me wrong, its still a DAILY struggle.
Even on suboxone, this has/is NO picnik at the park!!!

but Im getting there.
I think Easter, will have a completely different meaning for me, and my family, for the rest of my life.

Wishing everyone a happy, and healthy holiday with family & friends..........

HAPPY EASTER to you too!!!

I always love reading your story, Suboxone was made for people like you and me, we're so lucky to have found it.
