Hi! I am 28 years old and my husband is 41 in May, 2015. We are both on Klonapin, and I am on suboxone and he is on subutex. Does ANYONE know if this will hender us getting pregnant?? I am aware that i will come off of my klonopin after becoming pregnant (as discussed with my doctor) I am praying for a child and am worried about this! Thank you!

My advice is general, but when asked I recommend tapering and discontinuing any benzo prior to conception. Are you getting both drugs from the same doctor? Perhaps a frank discussion with them about your plans and how to handle a pregnancy is warranted.
Hubbies use of buprenorphine and klonapin won't be a factor unless he has low T from opioid use.

This doc agrees on the conceiving issue. Benzos, though, have been linked to an increase risk of miscarriage, so as the docm2 says, you may want to stop the clonazepam before conceiving, not after. I would worry that by the time you know you are pregnant, the risk will already have occurred.
