I recently found an article by Dr Junig saying to take all your dose once in the morning. The reasoning is to break the pattern of addiction. To resist taking a dose when we want to change our mood. Unfortunately, for the first few years of my suboxone treatment, I didn't know of him or this forum and was taking two doses. Am and pm. Since reducing my dose I was prescribed to take 3 a day. I remember thinking that might activate an additictive pattern in me. I'm glad I found this forum before I started doing it that way.

But for you, since you are still dealing with finding your right dosage, I just don't know what to suggest. I would hate to tell you to do it in the morning, then suffer cravings in the evening. When you feel like your settled on your dosage, I would definitely try the once a day thing.

I'm sorry I'm not very helpful. I'm new to this approach.

Not a problem. Like with kids there is no real handbook for it. I guess I take it when I feel cravings

Here's one of the articles where he touches on dosing once per day. I'm either too stupid (or dead inside as Sub Off suggests) to find the main article.
