Adding to what Ashlee said... You can look for meditation guides on youtube to help you start out with meditation. And there are many different styles, so you can look for one that suits you the best.

Morning of the 15th day. I slept a full night last night but only bc I took klotopin but it felt great to sleep for once. I'm still feeling pretty good. I think Every thing else is just a mind game bc I expect it to be there so I think about it. Over all I would say it was the right decision for me!

You're right!

The things you anticipate you are more likely to feel. We've talked here before about how great it would be if someone could control the amount we are on without us knowing. So we could be titrated down and not know when we are actually off the medication.

Our minds are so powerful! I think there's always room for improvement in how we use that power.

Hello Hsanders,

Keep on going. You've got this!!. You really are past the worst of it. Seriously. The only thing that really helped me through withdraws was Staying busy. No matter what. I would go to the gym, do yoga, work and journal. Just keeping my brain busy seemed to help me not think about how I was feeling. Good luck to you

Thank You! I just want my energy back. I work at a desk and it's so hard to stay motivated. If that came back I would be perfect

Hsanders07,

How do you feel mentally/physically today?

We're glad that you've come so far, keep going & keep us updated!

3 weeks today! I'm blessed that I was able to make the change and stick with it, even on the days I felt like I just wanted to give up. But I'm back to normal and it's def different than the past 10 or so years that I've always been dependent on something or worried about not having it or enough. It's so worth everything i went through to get here

You did the work and you are ready to enjoy the fruits of your labor!

Now just stay mindful and never forget that addiction can sneak up on you when you least expect it.

Happy for you!

Thank you Amy! You have been there for me alot. This forum really did help when I had no one else to turn to. I know I'll always be an addict but recovery is what matters most. I have to remember why I did this and how far I've come so I don't ever make that same mistake again.
