Hey, I’m getting pretty desperate trying to find someone who can prescribe me subs. I currently get some from a friend and this has been the only thing that can help me stay clean. I’ve tried subsolve but they make my stomach sick and don’t want to take methadone. I really hate this disease and hate having to depend on someone who half the time ends up selling all his subs and wants to get high. I will drive anywhere that’s within reason
Thanks in advance

Have u tried the doctor search function? Is it possible to find out where the person ur getting them from now goes to the doctor? If so, u can call and see if they're seeing new patients or get put on a waiting list. If it were me, I'd be on every waiting list I could get on and take the first opening that comes available. If ur persistent enough and have a little bit of patience, u will finally find a doctor willing to see u. Please don't stop trying.

In my area, there's constantly new patients being accepted. At my clinic, there's new patients doing inductions every week (evidently ppl drop out rather regularly). So don't give up, just because there's a waiting list doesn't mean you'll have to wait a long time.

What it often takes is time on the phone, calling doctors that come up on a list of suboxone doctors.

One thing I'm curious about is that zubsolv makes you sick to your stomach. Do you know that buprenorphine, the drug that is doing the work is absorbed through mucous membranes? Every kind, including suboxone is formulated to be absorbed under the tongue or in the cheek, etc. If any kind makes your stomach feel sick, spit it out after it dissolves. It doesn't do anything once swallowed in terms of absorption, so if it makes you feel sick you can just spit instead of swallowing.

Here's a link to get you started: https://www.samhsa.gov/medication-assis ... an-locator
