Keep strong Albar! You can for sure do this. I'm on day 11 and I jumped from a similar dose. Had access to Ultram but didn't take it. Stay away from emotional TV programs if it gives you goose bumps/chills, that's my recent experience. Keep posting and reading here, it'll help.

Hey Albar,
Thanks for the update. So tomorrow is day 8 of the 8 day suboxone detox? Do you leave w any prescriptions?
Assume the naltrexone implant is the 2 mo implant? Is the implant a regular part of their program or only for those that fear relapse w their doc? Any recovery type work going on? Sure hope so. Appreciate all your updates. Thanks. Best, P

Congrats to you, keep strong.

Is it inappropriate to ask what that whole thing cost? Covered by insurance? Cash?

Albar I'm so happy that ur happy and I have no complaints on anything that works to keep recovery going. So please don't think I'm being negative here because I'm not. But I just wanted to ask, in the long run, wouldn't getting the naltrexone shot be just as effective as what u are doing with the pellet? It just seems so expensive to pay $5800 when u could also get the shot through a doctor and not pay anything near that much.

Please don't feel like I'm criticizing ur choice, just wondering what the difference is. I don't know anything about this pellet but I know a little bit about the naltrexone shot. My doctor offers the shot too so I was just curious if what ur doing is like the shot or is ur treatment more detailed...... meaning, is there more ur doing besides the pellet? For most of us $5800 isn't an option financially.

No that's what it cost for the whole detox 8 days they give you medication and everyday you get shots of neltrexon then I don't last day you get the pellet well worth the money
