Good point Pelican! I work at a methadone program in the early morning hours and about a third of the new patients test positive for hep C. I don't know where fresh was from, but I've hear TB is a big issue in NYC especially.

For what it's worth, many women (several on this forum, myself included), also experienced low libido and sexual dysfunction on Suboxone. But as stated above, it it not unique to bupe, it can be an issue for women on Methadone and full agonists as well. I also wanted to throw in that women DO have testosterone (just as men have estrogen), and one of the newer treatments for low libido in women is microdoses of testosterone.

Also in re: Dr. J - I work in one of the biggest "growth" areas for heroin addiction in the northeast. At the last clinic in which I worked we had Hep C rates approaching 75%!
