After The Great Kratom Debate that never was, I freakin tried some. Ordered some Thai Maeng Da, it got here, and I tried it.

It isn't a fantastic "buzz." I take .5 mg/day of Sub, and it kept me well, and gave me a general sense of well-being. I used 5 gs, and then made a tea from 4.5 gs that I drank in halves.

I would highly recommend kratom for anyone that is forced off Sub or for any reason is forced to undergo withdrawal. It is perfectly legal in the US (though illegal in Aussieland and Thailand, sorry guys).

I don't want anyone to think this is spam, so I am not going to post the vendor..but a good vendor is very important with this stuff.

Yep, I used it a few times before I was on suboxone. During the time when I thought CT was an option for me to quit opiates...

I agree with the OP, it's not something I would use recreationally, but it did knock out the WD symptoms for a couple hours. My idea at the time was just to have a little break from the WD hell I was in, and it worked fairly well. The problem is having to choke down large amounts of a "mud tea" solution and then getting a pretty short time of relief from it. There were a couple of unpleasant side effects from it as well. Bordering on TMI, so I'll leave it at that.

If there's any specific thing you wanted answered I'll be happy to try Doc...

NoAlibi was banned for being argumentative, if I remember correctly.
