i have been on suboxone since 2009 and everything was great up until six months ago. when i went to pee i started to struggle, it was taking longer and longer to get my urine to start coming out. i then got to the point of having to sit down with the tap on. sometimes i was sat there for 30-40 mins. anyway 7 weeks ago after drinking 5 cans of beer i tried to pee but nothing happened. i ended up in hospital and now have a pipe (caphator) on. has any1 else had this problem?

I've been on for about four years and the longer I'm on,the harder it is to pee.I'm bummed reading about you,I thought I was the only one.I don't want a catheter.

I have been on Suboxone for 10 months and had the same problem until I went to my local pharmacy and bought an over the counter diuretic (water pill) brand name Diurex but the generic is the same thing. The only problem I had with them was the very first dose I took was the day before my appointment with my Suboxone doctor. My in office urine test was fine but the one that they send off to a lab came back showing that it was "too pure" but once I told my doctor that I had taken a diuretic the day before he understood why it showed the way it did. Hope this helps

I have been on subs for 2 years now. I have the exact same problem, and I agree that it does get worse the longer I am on it.
