sorry so vague, just not used to this forum yet....tried the induction method of Robert_325 and was doing well until the 4th or 5th day ...just got confused on the next steps. have 13 8mg sublinguals left and really want to do this right this time around. The induction and taper plan that im following is in my honest opinion, logical and practical to be off of Suboxone in around an 7-8 week period. Thats what im trully gunning for. I am a firm believer that although they are trying to help; Dr's are kinda clueless on what dosage is enough for induction and stablization....i had my Dr. telling me to take 8mg X2 a day!!!!! thats way to much for what i was taking for my neck and back bulging disks! ...Dilaudid 8mg 4x a day for about 2 1/2 years. I am not just speculating here and I hope most would agree with me that 16mg a day is overkill...just want off of PK's and Suboxone and return to my old self. Suboxone IMHO is a great tool in helping I just need a little guidance on the induction, stablization and finally tapering off.
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks :D

do a search over at bluelight.ru
in the "other drugs" forum

its a harm reduction site, so there is lots of drug addict talk, but is a GREAT resource for bupe and bupe tapers.

you should be taking no more than 2-4mg/day (IMO) for stability, and taper down to 1mg, .75, .5, .25

this will require you to dissolve the meds in a known concentration of water, and use a oral syringe to dose the appropriate amount (otherwise near impossible to dose fractions)

good luck

Hi daler22,

Robert_325 actually isn't a member of this site, I believe he's a member of Drugs.com. If you do a google search for Robert 325, it should pop up with a bunch of his threads.

Just so you know, you are most certainly welcome here. I do think you'll find that many members of this site prefer for people to be on Suboxone more towards the long end of the spectrum rather than short term use because of the high relapse rates associated with short term Suboxone usage.

Either way, I wish you lots of luck on your journey!

From what I remember, Robert_325 suggests dropping your dose by 25% every four days?
