I am trying to get started on subs and I really wish I didn't have the dope laying around or I wouldn't of done it but I waited thirty hours yesterday before I did the sub and then an hour later i did the dope stupid I know but I have no more dope and I don't think it really did anything to me anyway. Should I just take 2 mg and see what happens or should I wait longer. I don't want to go into pw. Please help. I'm in Wnc and the dope was some powdery China that isn't usually great but good. (Maybe just my tolerance)

Impatient much?

I tend to think that the heroin couldn't bind to the opiate receptors because the sub has a tighter grip on them. So I think you would just be taking suboxone after taking a dose of suboxone. Suboxone kicks other opiates off the receptors and sticks there. The heroin didn't land on your receptors because suboxone is long acting and was still tying them up. I think you would be fine taking your next dose on time.

If you want to be completely safe you can wait until you feel withdrawal symptoms.

Amy

Good morning, Welcome! So happy you decided to post. Each day there are many new posts to read. I try my hardest to check in a few times per day and respond to any new post I see that has not had a response. I do this even if I don't have an answer but just to help the person know that they have been heard. It is a very busy time of year and I am sorry I missed your post yesterday. I dont feel comfortable giving you an answer because I do not have experience with heroin. I would be very upset if I gave you advice that led to your being sick! So glad Amy responded! She is amazing and has a lot of knowledge! I wish you much luck and ask that you be a bit patient in waiting for a response to any post. It will come and will be worth the wait! Have a wonderful day!
