Hi

I am a long time reader of this site and on monday I finally decided to log in because I had a question to ask about tapering. I asked the question and thus far have gotten no response. The question was about a self taper off of suboxone. Is the way in which I asked, or the subject matter itself objectionable, or have I not followed proper procedure for making a first post. If someone could answer this for me I would be grateful as I find this site and Dr Junig's youtube videos very informative on the subject of suboxone in general and I have learned a great deal from the info posted here.

Thanks
Joe

Hi joe,

No, you haven't done anything wrong and tapering on your own is not taboo by any means. Sometimes another new thread will be posted right after yours and get "bumped" up to the top of the list. I think that's what happened with yours. I'm sorry for not seeing it sooner. I did respond to you in your original post. I hope this glitch in your experience here doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth (Ha - suboxone pun intended). Seriously though, I hope you stick around and keep posting. WELCOME!
