I'm only a couple days in Suboxone free and I know it's about to get a hell of a lot harder. I'm looking for some sort of chat room where I have people to talk to at all hours of the night. Amy suggestions? I've looked around but can't seem to find anything. Thanks.

Sorry, I don't know of any specific chat rooms. What dose did you stop at?

I'm not sure of any specific chat rooms. This one has a chat room, but it doesn't seem to many people use it. Though I have gotten a LOT of support through this website. I'd say it's very frequently used. What mg did you quit at & what day were you on? I'm on Day 5, Night 6. I quit at .25mg.

6mg. My first suboxone free day was Friday. I seemed to be alright til this morning. I was also given prescriptions for valium and ambien. Haven't taken any ambien yet because I wasn't feeling too bad. Took two valium yesterday and one thus morning. Also have vitamins and potassium that I've been taking every day. That's pretty much where I'm at.

I'm not aware of any chat rooms for opiate wd either, but that's a great idea!!

If you feel like it, you can post and vent on this forum as much as you want.

Have you looked into Clonidine for opiate wd? Clonidine is a blood pressure medication that's prescribed off label for opiate wd. I jumped from around the same dose you did and Clonidine was, by far, the best thing I took to help with my wd's.

Keeping your mind and body busy during your wd is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Also, listen to your favorite music, take hot showers, it'll help, too.

These forums are very active and are very positive in their content. Even typing here is an inspiration, for me.

Hoping the best for you.
