Has anyone noticed if the price of Suboxone has been dropping or staying the same since the Generic Subutex came out and it went off patent. I was thinking that they may start lowering the price to maybe prevent patients from trying get their doctor to switch them to Subutex if he will which would result in them loosing customers and also it may help keep a generic Suboxone from showing up.

I do not think the majority of doctors would switch to Subutex because the naloxone is a much regarded factor in treatment.Too many people would take advantage of the situation and that is why Suboxone was created, to help cut down on diversion.

And what a shame that is..............

Also I see no changes in suboxone pricing since the generic came out. I don't think it will change until a generic comes out for that as well, since it seems most people are still taking what they have been for years.
