I just had 12 teeth pulled a little while ago, I have been on fairly low dose of suboxone for a little over a year. Is it going to hurt me to take the loratab the dentist prescribed?
Thanks in advance!!

It won't hurt you, but it probably won't help very much either. It largely depends on how much Sub you're on. You said fairly low dose...meaning 3-4mg a day versus 0-1mg a day is an enormous difference. How much exactly are you on?
Usually, it's best to just use Advil or Aleve and avoid the Lortab if at all possible.

Even if u took the whole bottle of loratab u would not feel a thing..Suboxone should be more than enough for pain control..You will be fine.

You won't get high from taking the Lortab that's for sure. It might take an edge off the pain you're experiencing. Dr. J recently wrote about prescribing agonists to people on Suboxone for pain management, and how they can get some analgesia from taking agonists while on Sub. But don't expect it to be heaps.
