Alright, since my last post, I've tapered from 1.5 down to 1.25mg and I've done this over 1 month. In my last post, I commented on my taper from 2mg down to 1.5mg and is titled "2mg to 1.5mg taper over 2 months - No problem..."

Luckily, my taper is still going without any issues. It actually seems to be getting easier which I wasn't expecting! Since I'm in a one week cycle everytime I drop a dose, the minor discomforts I experienced before, such as the tiredness and dry eyes, don't really affect me anymore. I was expecting the withdrawal symptons to get worse, but I'm not experiencing any. Perhaps my body is getting use to the consistent gradual drop in doses, that it isn't giving me the withdrawal symptons.

I still continue to take supplements such as multi-vitamins and ammino acids, and continue to work out and eat healthy. That has helped my body heal itself and therefore I don't need to take any of the prescriptions my doctor has given me to ease withdrawal symptons.

My doses during the past month, which I have been cutting with my Rx film cutting guide, have been:

1.50 mg
1.438 mg
1.375 mg
1.313 mg
1.25 mg

I'm going to keep reducing my doses by 0.063 mg every week, which is a 5-6% reduction and see how it keeps going. I will gladly share any discomforts I experience, because I believe they will be coming eventually, but hopefully not!

That is great news! Thanks for sharing details about how you're doing your taper. I definitely think you're doing the smart thing by tapering ever so gradually!

Thanks Amy! Although the process is slow and steady, I'm still impressed with how it's going. I think I'm going to switch to 2mg films once I get to 1mg. That will help out with the sizes and make it easier to take.

Thanks again for your support!!
