Hi I am new here. I know my questions have probably been asked and answered a million times and I'm sorry. :| I hope no one gets angry at me for them and yells at me though. If my questions upsetting you please don't respond by being mean because I have already said I'm sorry in this apology.

I've been taking Suboxone films for 3 days-
1st day: 16mgs
2nd day:16mgs
3rd: 8mgs
I waited 30 hours after heroin, 11 days off methadone. I inducted with 4mgs in office and didn't feel anything. Not worse or PWD yet no better at all! I took the other 4 mgs NOTHING.Later took 8mgs more NOTHING. And so on with day 2 now day 3. So my questions to you are What did I do wrong? What should I do next (push forward or step back), take more or less? Is it possible that it's something like MY body not absorbing it properly? If so why a few years ago did it work good yet I feel nothing now? Could it be that the tabs I was using work better for me than strips? .Last time after initial 8mgs within 20mins I felt amazing and so after finally saving the $550 induction fee and with my family in the waiting room anxious to see the miraculously changed woman walking out than the one who walked in and seeing their faces when I said" Its not working" i feel let down I guess. Anyways, I thank you for any help you can give me on this. Thanks

I will let the people with heroin to sub experience answer you more extensively, but what I've heard them say is that going from heroin to sub is very difficult and that it takes several days of taking the suboxone for it to feel like it's working. You have to stay with it and be a little patient. Others will be along to explain things more fully, but I wanted to tell you not to give up!

Hi Scorpio,

There is another thread going on currently with a very similar theme. She has received alot of good advice. I pasted the link below, check it out.

topic9007.html

As Amy said, coming from heroin can take time. But throwing Methadone into the mix makes it worse from what I hear. You just have to stick with it and give the sub time to override the other stronger opiates in your system. I know it's not a cake walk, but it's worth the effort.

Good luck!
