I have been on Suboxone for 7 months now. When I first started to take it it worked really well. I had energy, felt great. For the past 2 months I dont think that it is working as well, I dont sleep, have no energy, get anxiety attacks. I have read about suboxone and its side effects and I cant seem to find out any anwers. If someone can help please post a reply. Thanks

Hmm. What sort of side effects? I found that my experience was almost completely opposite yours - when I first started taking Sub, I couldn't really sleep, had anxiety still, the shakes, cravings. But as my body adjusted, and I went to meetings regularly, surrounded myself with clean and sober friends, I began to feel a lot better - almost within a week's time. I slowly lowered dosages as prescribed by the doctor, had help with paying for it, and felt great. Now that I am on such a lower dose, I do sometimes feel the symptoms you describe, but not as intensely.

My best suggestion to you would be to speak with your doctor about it, tell him/her what you've been experiencing so that he can adjust your dosage, maybe increase it so that you can adjust some more. How many mg's are you on now? How many did you start out at? You'll want to be completely honest with your doctor about how you are feeling, so that he can better help you. My guess is that he'll want to increase your dosage so that you can readjust.

Hope that helps!
