Wow, I've been here for several years but don't recall this subject at all. Or maybe I just dismissed it because it doesn't pertain to me. Meaning, I am not supposed to eat or drink any grapefruit product due to it's effect on my cholesterol meds.

It always brings me back to the original question of "why don't you just ask your doctor for an increase of dosage?" Trying to maximize the amount of Buprenorphine that is absorbed into your system seems like a waste of time to me. Let your body do what it's supposed to do with metabolism and such and quit thinking about how to increase your Sub dose. I used to be on 1 mg two years ago but feel better on 6 mg's now. My doctor didn't argue with me when I asked to have my dose upped. Plus, with the ceiling effect, why bother? Just take your dose and stop thinking about how you feel and just live your life.

Great subject to have brought up from the archives. Some oldies are real goodies.

Be grateful today for all the gifts of life you've been given.
