I've been on sub two and a half years. It was ok the first year then the side effects really started bothering me, constipation no sex drive. Right now I get so constipated every couple weeks I have to drink a full bottle of mag citrate. My testosterone was checked and I'm right at 250. I just feel like shit all the time. And now my insurance won't cover my sub visits so m looking at over 200 every visit. I don't know what to do
I take 4mg twice a day

I had constipation too while i was on suboxone. And i felt pretty shitty.

Have you considered tapering off? Or maybe dropping your dose to 3 mg in the morning and 3 at night or 2 mg in the morning and 2 mg at night? Id explain your negative side effects to the doctor if you hadnt done so already and take it from there.

Good luck!

I think I'm going to try 4mg a day and TRT.

I can relate to certain side effects growing to be a pain in my side after time. A few years in I was sick of dealing with certain things.

You should try 4mgs in the AM and then only take 2 in the PM. The PM dose is rarely needed and if you do need one, you can get by on very little. Eating yogurt daily will get things moving.. It takes a few days to build up but if you stick to it, it will help.

Or you could just do 2mg & 2mgs.. you'd probably be fine and experience very little differences.
