I posted yesterday that my sub Dr. quit and left his patients w no Dr.today, luckily ,I found a new Dr.after giving a urine specimen, she said I was negative for bupe! How can that be? I take 24 mgs a day faithfully. When I told get that was impossible, she didn't believe me, wouldn't re test and accused me of selling my . I was so upset. She informed me that if I had another negative urine screening, she'd throw me out of the program, and that I needed to chime twice a week for the next thirty days for a med count and that I need to save my wrappers so they can also be counted! Wth? Any comments or suggestions? Are these tests reliable? How could there be a false negative?

I'm sorry that happened. It happens every once in a while, you're not the first to report it. You should ask your sub doctor if you can dose right in front of her. Anyone without a suboxone tolerance would not be able to handle 24mgs, and an active user wouldn't want to do that.

Thanks so much for the advice, I'll give that a try when I see her again, which will be sooner than I'd like. Now I'm a nervous wreck that it'll happen again. Hopefully it wad just a fluke!
