So, I am super stoked that I am losing weight on soboxone because I really need to lose weight. The only thing that is bothering me is the constant stuffy nose. Right after my strip dissolves, my nose is so congested. I have been using Afrin nose spray at night, but you aren't supposed to use that long term. The suboxone is really helping me, so I want to see if there is something I can do to help the stuffy nose but not have to quit my sub.

I have also noticed that my ankles retain fluid, but a quick google search showed me that it is common for that to happen.

Thoughts on how I could minimize these side effects? Accept the weight loss of course.

Hey Teach, welcome.
Hmm, stuffy nose. That's a new one. Could be something else though.

This time of year I start getting stuff too.
I reach for the nose straps. Drug stores sell them. Opens up the nasal passages quite well.. Maybe you should try that..

Fluid around the feet area is somewhat common. Two friends delt with it by lowering their
dose a bit.
Don't know to much else about this side effect.
Ya, the weight loss is nice. I dropped 20pounds in the first year.

Like all meds, side effects do ocure..

Best of luck and keep posting..
