Help! My better half had a disagreement with doctor he had been seeing for a long time. Long story short, after speaking to a staff member, he went into his office to pick up script, and the doctor was not in (he was let in by maintenance), the doctor accused him of violating patient confidentiality, even though he never even went in his REAL office, which is located i the rear of the building, and the doctor gave him one month of meds, and referred him to the only other place around, which is an hour away. After weeks of waiting, the new new physician declined to see him, obviously based on the biased, and inappropriate negative referral fro his previous physician. Our zip is 97450. Our last resort is to drive a minimum of 3 hours to the closest physician. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you have done a complete search and 3 hours away is the best there is....that will have to suffice until you can either convince the other one to treat him or find a new, closer one.

Sorry, all we have is the doctor finder button up top. It seems no one here lives in your area to help.

I know members here who have driven further than 3 hours for meds. If you go that route, see if he'll give you a refill or two. Mine won't, but some do.

Good luck in your search,

rule
