I have been on suboxone for about 2 months now and am loving being codeine free. Unfortunately I have been suffering from the worst burps of my life. I mean REALLY bad. They smell like rotten eggs and no matter what I do I can't get rid of them. My GP thinks they are caused by the suboxone but none of the councelors from my treatment centre have heard of anybody else having this side affect. It is affecting my life in the worst way. I even made someone gag from the smell. I am currently on 6mg of suboxone but I dose (12mg)every second day. I just want to know if it is at all common. I take chlorophyll every day as it is supposed to help with nasty body odours but it barely makes a dent in the stench. Can anybody out there help me. I'm at my wits end.

Hi Tina,
I am sorry I could not help you as I am suffering the same situation on a daily basis. My father has a very bad habit of burping after he take his meal. He is also on medication though it's not helping. If you get any solution please let me know and if I find something, I will get back to you. Cheers.
