I get ransoms. Usually 2 times a week. Got an itch, I know it's immature. Whatever. Save the judgement. If I take 1mg of sub, and haven't used in months, how long will it take to pass my test? I remember in prison the general rule was 24 hours. Just looking for a concrete answer. Thanks.

It took me a few minutes to figure out you meant 'randoms', not ransoms!

There are too many variables for a concrete answer. My guess would be 72 hours, for the 'point of care' immuno-assay kits. Daily, long-term use will stay positive for 4-5 days on those tests, and using one time does't create the reservoir of buprenorphine bound to protein that you see in long-term use.

But some tests are more senstive than others, and there are significant differences in individual metabolism.
