First of all- I want to sincerely apologize for to anyone who may have been offended by what I
had written in my previous thread that is titled "just a little vent."

For what it's worth- at that time, I was anxiously awaiting gall bladder surgery- and was definitely
not feeling very well at all- but I'll admit that this was no excuse for me to "lash out" like I did...

Anyway, I finally had gall bladder surgery this past Tuesday (after waiting since October for it),
and am already back on sub- which, BTW, is helping to take care of my post-op pain MUCH better
than those (generic) Norcos that my surgeon had given me. I'm back to feeling a lot better- and
am back to myself. Side note: I'm Bi-polar, and- for some strange reason, this illness/condition
had gotten a bit worse while I was feeling sick and awaiting surgery; but I'm OK now. ;-)

Finally, I would like to ask one of the Moderators to PLEASE delete that thread- if at all possible-
but, if that's a no-go, I will understand. The main reason why I want it to be deleted is because
most if what I had written in that thread ( the mean stuff) is just not really an accurate representation
of who I really am/ my "baseline" personality...

I truly hope that whoever reads this will understand.

Thanks,

-ex-

I commend you on your apology. We all have bad times and do or say things out of character. The fact that you recognized this and are making a mends shows who you really are. I will admit I was surprised by your posts and they didn't seem like you. I can't speak for everyone but I know I have taken anger out on others more than once in my life.

I am glad to hear you are feeling better and are back on sub. Hopefully you will have smooth sailing from here on out. I will delete the thread right now, take care!

I think back when I was actively addicted, and how my anger would fly literally OFF the charts..I mean, I would get SO mad that I would have chest pains and if it was really bad, I'd get a headache from the anger (this was usually when I was coming down or near withdrawals and extremely pissed)

Now, I might get angry, heck we all do..but I manage it MUCH more easily than I used to. Wife was actually scared of me back then..now she knows that I'm the loving man that she married years ago.

Don't worry about it Exorphin at all. We're only human and we make mistakes.

I'm unsure about deleting that thread, whether it's something we're supposed to do. But it is locked, and it's already faded away and forgotten really. We don't have good memories, us recovering addict types :D
