I thought since many of us have dogs (or cats/other pets), that we should have a place to show them off. For me, my babies are 2 dogs (a Border Collie and a Pit mix), 3 cats, and a cockatiel. I was going to post a picture or two, but all of mine are too big and I haven't figured out how to adjust their size yet.

So if you are interested, share some pics of your babies with us! (I'll be working on shrinking mine down.)

For all of us internet challenged people out here (yeah, I'm probably the only one), could you show me how to put a picture in my reply?

I tried a couple of times, but the computer keeps laughing at me like I'm some kind of idiot.

Very Cute, Miss H - is that a minpin?

Romeo, I'm having trouble, too. I've tried using the "upload picture" button, without success. It starts working, then nothing - a blank page that says "done".
Jamez or Junkie or anyone...what are we doing wrong?

Hi guys....

Well, This is how I posted the picture of my baby

I found the picture I wanted and right clicked the picture, clicked view image info, and a URL came up that I copied.

Then on here I clicked reply, clicked on the little icon (7th one) for adding an image, and a box came up with a place to entr the URL of your image. then press okay and there ya go! Should work!

Jessica

I can't seem to get the image embedded. So I give up! This is the link to the picture on Photobucket. The brown dog on the left is Romeo (LOL) and the Border Collie is Hannah (AKA "hannah banana"). I'm unashamed to admit that I spoil them crazy...And yes I let them lick my face.

LOL, I'm not sure I know how I did it! I clicked on the "upload picture" button. That opens a new window and you can click "browse" to find a picture in your computer. For me, after I did that it kept just going to a blank page that said "done". And trust me, I was getting damn frustrated. So eventually I tried it again and when that second window opened (after clicking "upload picture") instead of using "browse" I clicked on "gallery" at the bottom. Lo and behold there was my picture. I just clicked on "insert picture".

But I have no idea how it worked! I'm just glad it did. Good luck.

What a great idea. I'm sure we deserve to forget our troubles for a while. Our pets comfort us so much. Why shouldn't we show them to each other. Kids too, why not. I smiled looking at the picture of those cute doggies and we need to smile. They are so gorgeous!

I can't wait until you see my Cocker Spaniel, Spencer.

The following very, very cute dog named Carmel is uploaded on behalf of our fellow member Romeo:

(Yes, Romeo the forum member is also the name of my dog. Go figure!)

I used to know how to do this years ago, but these days, I can't remember. I e-mailed my pictures to Melissa and asked if she would post them for me. So if she does (because she is an amazing friend and I know she will :-)) I will tell you their names.

The white dog, American Eskimo Spitz, is "Jackcrack" or Jack for short :-) My husband calls him Jackcrack, hence the screen name.

The other dog is Tika, a Papillon. She is my baby.

Hopefully those will get here soon...or eventually. I will keep trying later but I have to finish my x-mas shopping and clearly....I am down to the wire!

Cherie
