You guys can call me Ace.

I had some trouble with Opiates after coming out of the USMC, and like many others, always have.

I learned recently (with my appointment being tomorrow) that my Doctor suddenly passed away. I've been told that patients are simply "losing" their prescriptions. I've built a beautiful life for myself, with an amazing family, and beautiful woman that I love more than life. I can not afford at this point of my life to go into the deep throes of Opioid Withdrawal. I've considered options at this point that no person should ever consider.

Please, help me.

Head to the VA. Most of them have several Sub providers.
Keep us posted, and welcome to the forum.

Hey Ace,
Losing your script like this can be a scary thing to have to deal with. We just had a member go though this. Your new clean life and all that has come because of it may take some work to help save it.
I like what Docm has suggested. The VA could be a good option for you. You could call them tomarrow. Also, as others have done you need to call around to other drs in your area. There is a dr search feature here on the forum site you may use.
Do you have any Sub saved up at all? I hope so..
Please try not to use over this. You can find a new Dr Ace.. It took our other member a few days, but he made it. Found a new doc.
So keep us posted and do some searching..hang in there..

The doctors office should also know of a secondary physician who can prescribe it for you.

To All, ask your own doctor who would substitute for him/her if they are away. I've already asked mine and the next closest one is an hour and a half away. Still, at least I have a name to fall back on.

I sure hope you get this straightened out quick.
