Hey everyone! I have scoured there the boards for a while now, like years, I had intentions to get off like a year ago but never did because at that time I thought jumping from 4mg was NOTHING until I read the stories.

I have taken suboxone non prescribed for 3.5 years, never did I exceed 10 mg a day, and I recently got down to 1mg maybe even a little less, hard to break up 8 mg pills.

I set a jump off date of August 1st months ago. Here we are and my last dose of .50 was at 6pm last night. I have Hyland's, Restful legs tabs, Ibuprofen, ambien, soma, lots of water and gatorade! I need to do this.

What I have learned about myself during all my opiate withdrawals is I usually withdraw fast and HARD! I hope this may be the case so I get over it. It's not even been twenty four hours and I am achy, chills and anxious.. this is going to be flippin' hard!!!!!

I will continue to document my journey!!

Thanks for everyone and their stories, I have been inspired by those who succeeded!!

Wow, you actually did it!!! Good job!!

Jumping from .5mg instead of 4mg is going to make a huge difference!! I imagine you're still gonna feel some wd, but it won't be anything like a jump from 4mg.

Stay strong, you can do this!!!

Hey IneedTostopThis,

I jumped off from around 5mg to 8mg after almost 3 years of use (abuse). It was a very craptacular wd, but I made it. You can too!!!!

You can bitch and complain all you want, that's what we're here for, so let loose!! :D

I hope you're doing OK and I hope your fighting this thing like Chuck Norris would fight a bad guy!
