Hi you guys,
The suboxone has taken away all of my back pain, but sometimes I still suffer from muscle strain in my middle down to my lower back. I have some Flexeril left over from a script I had a while back before I started Sub. Does anyone know if it is safe to take one? They are 10mg pills. Or would I be better off taking aspirin, or ibuprofin perhaps? That is all I have, no Tylenol.
Thanks everyone!

It's my mom's birthday so I've been busy baking cakes and goodies all day, and I'm having a lot of back strain.

I was prescribed Flexeril with my Suboxone for about a month.

I stopped taking it because it says in the medication information that Flexeril is no longer effective after a week of daily use. It isn't a good long term medication.

But yeah, they are safe to take together.

Thanks, Ironic. I ended up taking a motrin, to be on the safe side, and about an hour later I noticed my muscle pain was all gone. Worked like a charm.

And to think I used to take all of those narcotic pain pills! Ohhh, what a baddd girl I was! I'd ALWAYS take a pill over an aspirin or motrin or tylenol (that stuff is for pusses I thought! For babies!! I'm hardcore, I take narcotics!!!) and now I can take one little motrin and it does the trick. Imagine that! :-D
