Does anyone gag when the bitter taste of Sub reaches the back sides of your tongue? This happens with the orange pill (Suboxone) not the white pill (Subutex).

I was kinda actually the opposite. I gagged on the Subutex. I thought it tasted awful. In fact, the first time I took it, I spit it out because I thought they gave me the wrong thing. It didn't taste like something meant to be held under one's tongue. I've also struggled with migraine-like headaches and with those comes the fabulous nausea. There have been lots of times when I was sick to my stomach and the flavor of the Sub has made me barf my guts out. I'm not a fan. Someone needs to call a better flavorist.

I don't like the taste at all. In fact it's the main reason I don't use Dr. J's maximum absorption method. You really taste it when you do it that way. And when I switched to the film I hated the taste of those even more - they made me practically gag. Luckily my doc let me go back to the tablets. So much for that lovely citrus taste. Yuck.
