Hi Neilsox,

First of all, congratulations on your recovery! I'm so happy you're feeling much better!

I had similar issues with my boyfriend while on Suboxone. It didn't completely eliminate my drive, although I would say it diminished it by at least fifty percent.

I am now on day 11 of my withdrawals, and I, too, am fiiiinally feeling better. I'd guess I still have a week or so before I'm completely "in the light," but I'll take the improvements I've had, as I have gone from feeling like death warmed over to feeling like I'm amidst having a cold, and am weak and a little short of breath. Comparatively, I feel like I've come back to planet earth and I can see an end in sight.

Unfortunately my sex drive has not returned, however, I'm also not in the best of shape, as I also suffer from chronic illness and this has taken a huge toll on my body, causing exacerbation of my illnes. Therefore, I might not be the most reliable source on this; however, I have read quite a few posts on this. It does appear to me that it takes women a little longer to get their drive back, as women are generally more affected in that arena when they aren't feeling well.

Best of luck to you and your girl! Let us know if she makes it through :).
