The best recovery program I've ever found is a five year old son and Jesus Christ. :D

The best program I've found is looking honestly at oneself - in and out of therapy - learning about oneself, striving for improvement at all I do and generally being a better person. Optimism helps with everything too. Basically, what makes for a healthy life to someone also makes for a healthy recovery program. And most importantly - what works for one person does not necessarily work for someone else.

Hey Wade! I saw the exchange between you and Hatmaker on the other thread. Just to clarify....I think your "sorry I'm wrong" is in reference to your mistakenly thinking that your initial post on this thread had been deleted. Correct?
I don't think you're saying that you were wrong in what you said about Jesus and your son. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.
All that aside.....I agree with you. Jesus is the ultimate healer and our love for our children does often pull us into wanting to be better! The spiritual component of recovery is one that many of us find very important. Obviously, it's a personal choice as to what "spiritual" means to the individual. I'm so glad we live in a country in which we get to choose!

I actually took it as sarcasm or frustration or something. If indeed it is a response to another post, wow, that's hard to connect all of the dots and keep up with. We have to remember that causal readers can't typically figure these things out like it looks SMF has. Thanks for jumping in and trying to clarify, SMF. Then again, it is really hard when all we have to deal with is a three word post. Perhaps Wade can let us know what he actually was trying to say.
