Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well. I am just checking to say "hello" and that I'm doing fine. I have read some of the posts from new members and I want to wish them well. I especially sympathize with those of you that have major surgery coming up and don't know if you will have your pain treated adequately. I am fortunate enough to have a good sub doctor and have had many surgeries, including 2 amputations and have my pain treated well. For those of you jumping off or tapering. Good luck and don't give up. I am still on 16mgs. sub daily. I don't blame those of you that are afraid to stop subs. Just the word withdrawal scares the living crap out of me.

Well, enough going on & on. For those that know me, I'm here, I'm o.k and I hope you are too. I always come back and check in because this forum has been a lifesaver for me and I love all of you so much. Take care & God bless.

Love, Queenie

Hi Mrs. Queenie!

I'm so glad to see your update and hear that you are still doing well. I know that I wasn't around when you were most active on the forum, but I have read quite a few of your posts over the last couple years, and even if you don't know me, I feel like I know you. :D

I always smile when I see your updates and I'm so happy that you still drop in to visit now and then. Hope you have a good week!

Hi Queenie! Glad to hear you are doing well! I have been great too! Still on my 8mg daily subs and more stable than ever! I don't post much but I still read. Keep up the hard work against addiction, no matter what. Love to all, Orange doll

Hi Queenie,

You know how much we love you here! The struggles and pain you went through is an inspiration to me. And for those facing surgeries, your experience is valuable. Thanks for checking in.

And a big "Howdy" to OrangeDoll. Haven't seen a post from you in quite awhile. Don't be such a stranger oldtimer.

Shalom queenie! I don't think our communication signals have crossed much on this forum but it's good to read your posts and good to hear that someone's doing well, particularly one who from all impressions has earned it. Keep thriving, k? Have a good day :)

It's always good to hear from you, Queenie! I would venture to say that you're the grand dame of this forum! Your input, updates, and advice is always welcome here. :)

Hello my Romeo, how are you doing? You know I come around and check on all my grandchildren.

I am doing well. Still on suboxone. 8mgs. a.m. and 8 mgs. p.m. I see my sub doctor every 6 months. Yes, he gives me an rx with 5 refills. He figures at this point, why put me through withdrawal. After all I am 71 yrs. old. My body can't take the aggravation. It's fine with me. I feel fine, no side effects, etc.. I had a heart attack last Sept. but luckily, no surgery, just heart meds. Plavix, Crestor and aspirin. I also conquered my problem with Ambien and found that Benedryl works.

So, what's been going on with you? I hope all is fine. I will keep in touch. I never forget you.

Love, Queenie
