I had surgery. A week ago ive been taking norco 10/325 for for 4days I stopped Monday night at 7 pm and last night around 10pm I took 2mg of suboxone and went into withdraw I felt bad but not so much this morning I took 8mg thinking it would be ok boy was I wrong ive been vomiting like every half hr and real dizzzy I don't understand why I waited more than 24hrs and I was about a 6 on the that scale WHAT'S HAPPING TO ME! PLZ ANY ADVISE ON HOW TO MAKE IT LESS PAINFUL. :x

I'm really sorry you're going through this, but I don't have any information that can really help. :( When I first induced on sub my doctor had me wait 72 hours before induction, which is excessive but it worked well on the induction end.

The only thing I can think to say is "This too shall pass." Not very helpful is it? The only advice I have is that once you're feeling better start with small doses of sub until you're sure your body can take it.

Thank you Amy it did pass when i woke up the next morning am back on track now. . If i ever have surgery again am going to wait till i am on the floor with full blown wd lol b4 i start up again :D

I was on 20mg methadone when i transferred over. I also only waited 28 hrs and was absolutely fine with my first dose of sub. I just went to the pharmacy the next day as normal but just delayed a few extra hrs. Was in start of wd for sure though. 72hrs or similar would be a real pain. Too long!
The Drs here say as long as in mild wd it will be fine, no need for full blown wd.
