Looking to get clean in Portland, Or?

Fair Start is amazing!

11790 SW Barnes Rd # 180
Portland, OR 97225-5934
(503) 924-1000

Dr Paul Thomas and the nurses are sooo great.

Last thursday was my first day. I couldnt imagine they were really going to be able and help me get comfy while I was WD'ing, but they did! AND I had a bad kidney infection, so you can imagine I was sick!

It was pretty affordable too!

Fair start only prescribes to patients up to age 30. He is a pediatrician and does not treat adults hence he cannot prescribe over that age. Just FYI. But, yes, they are helpful and caring.

Another physician in Portland is a psychiatrist named Walker Bryan Dixon and he is taking new patients. He does a great job of talking about bupe, has a thorough understanding of addiction and recovery. I recommend him highly.
He also does adult psychiatry along with bupe and has an affiliation at a local hospital.

Hi, I'm from Salem, OR and I've been like this for about 2 and a half years and am looking to get clean and Suboxone, based on my experience, is the only thing that makes me feel 'normal' and keeps me off other things -- so i'm curious, what is the going rate? What was your experience? I know it varies, depending on if you have insurance or not (I currently do NOT) but I am desperate and need to go somewhere a doctor will understand what i am going through and help me out. I'm so frustrated by the process thus far and have been almost in tears over this whole thing the past couple days.

any information you can share, in as great of detail as possible, so that i can know what to expect generally, from this clinic u recommend, would be greatly apreciated.. or anyone else who is in Oregon and can share.

thanks,
Matthew
