HI Rule! I know this is an old post but I was reading anything and everything because I am new here and to sub treatment. I just wanted to say hi to you because you mentioned being sober in 87 but then relapsed on opiates years later. Wow that hit home. I got sober in '98 from everything thru AA and NA . Then 6 yes ago thru a chronic pain condition came the opiates. Really hadn't ever had a problem with them until 6 years ago and bam...relapsed and been hell for the last 6yrs. My addiction off and running and full steam ! ! I am not quite 50 but close at 48. So nice to see someone that I can relate to. I Also never took a drink during my only by the grace of my higher power! Anyway just wanted to say hi and thanks for being here. Hope you see this and all is well with you !
