First of all, I want to say thank you for this site. This is the first time I have posted regarding this issue.

I will start by saying that I am an addict, for many years. Opiates being the least of my problems...cocaine being the worst. I have pretty much tried every drug out there. In the past 2 years I have done limited my use to weed, Xanax (when I could get my hands on it), and the occasional vicodin or percocet. Approximately 10 months ago someone sold me soboxone (which I had experience with from an ex bf (very small doses taken sublingual) for only a day or so to get overnthe downer from an all night coke binge.

Anyway, 10 months ago I obtained subs illegally just for something to maybe give me some energy. I got 8mg pills that I chopped a small piece off and sniffed. So, I'm not really sure how much I was taking really. An 8mg pill would last a week (or sometimes less)

I am 36 and very happily married for 1yr 6 months, HOWEVER, he has no clue that I have been using the subs. He does know about my past drug use and current and occasional weed use. He is ok with this and has accepted my past. He is an occasional drinker and that's it.

Ok, so here goes...the withdrawal. I knew I wanted to stop using the subs. The lies, the aggrevation of obtaining them, and being a slave to the drug were just making me feel so bad. I ran out 10 days ago. I had depression first day, just knowing it was gone. 2nd day diarrhea, very low energy, NO Sleep! That to me was the worst. Every symptom got worse each day after!

This is getting long, so I will tell you that I am day 10and feeling pretty good. I think the worst part for me was the mental. I had no one to talk to about this because nobody knew. My husband was just thinking I was going crazy. I felt so so alone, but hearing others stories really helped me. Thank you!
