I havent been around here much lately but I wanted to share that yesterday was my 1 year off sub day :)

Life is good, I am doing well... didnt go thru paws...... . I have since got married, and I still see my phsyc who was my sub doctor for my bi polar meds.

It seems like it was such a long time ago when I was going thru the withdrawals... and the people on this site were so helpfull and supportive I just want to thank everyone once again....

My new motto is " I am living the good life" and I have no regrets...................as of today I have not relapsed.
I am still lifting weights like crazy thats what got me thru withdrawal, and keeps me sane now ( working out is my new addiction, I turn 50 next year and want to be in the best shape of my life on that day)

Anyway I just wanted to share and thank you all again...... Hope everyone is well and happy

hugs
Lisa

That is great to hear. It seems I'm always hearing about horror stories with PAWS, etc., and never success stories, so good for you. I hope you keep it up.

Wow congrats Lisa!

It's real heartening to hear someone else with bipolar making it through to the big 1 year milestone! :) This has made me somewhat hopeful for me.

You said you didn't go through PAWS. The funny thing is you probably DID experience a level of PAWS, you just chose not to notice, or didn't attribute any mild symptoms you did feel to it. You just got on with it. And look at where you're at now!
