Hi all,

I used to visit this forum, mainly just reading, not contributing much. I was all over the place on subs sometimes, gear most of the time. mostly smoking gear at the time I think, but until recently i was injecting.

I am now scripted 8mg suboxone a day, take it in the morning, every morning and am doing really well.

Thought I would re visit, see what else I could learn and help out if I can

Thanks

H 8)

Hey homer,

Glad you made it back to the forum and to Suboxone! I'm happy to hear that you're doing so much better on your Suboxone this time around.

Good for you for not giving up!! I know falling down and using again sucks and that getting back up is sometimes the hardest thing in the world to do, but you did it!! Now don't fall down anymore! :D

Hi Homer and welcome back. We're really glad to see you back with us again. Congrats on getting back on sub and taking it properly. I'm sure that wasn't an easy transition for you, but hey, you did it and that's awesome. Good on you! Keep reading, keep writing; we'll be here for you.

Have you considered any addiction counseling or therapy this time around? Also, I'd suggest learning about your triggers and cravings and how to deal with them when they come up. This is a must if you ever want to end sub treatment. As for the addiction counseling and therapy, well, I consider them always a good thing.

Good luck in all you do and in your newly new recovery/remission. Again, we're really happy to have you back.

Hello Homer and welcome back! I know we haven't "met" and I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I am glad that you are on your way. It doesn't matter how long it took, or how you got here, I am just glad that you are here.

Good luck with your journey and let me know if I can help in any way!

cheers guys, appreciate so much the support. yes i am in a certain amount of treatment this time. although so far, this has consisted of taking my details while looking at a pc screen and then repeatedly messing my script up...i know i am very lucky here in UK as therapy is free and scripts are relatively cheap, i work so i pay a small amount. if i didnt work it would be free.

thanks loads again, i will stick around this time, hope i can help as well as learn.

i hope to work in addiction tretment myself eventually. i need a year of clean tests to voluteer then see where i can go from there...

peace and thanks 8)

i mean the drug team messing my script up not me, well combination of doctors nd drug team. i always say they wouldnt let a late onset type 2 diabetes meds run out, yet they happy to let sub scripts run out and shrug when i ask for help. anyway, less grumblings, its all a challenge and my script is now def covered till end of september (weeklypickup)

peace 8)
