I wanted to let everyone know that if you have a AAA membership, you can use their prescription discount card to get up to 40% off Subutex. That's the discount they've been giving me. The AAA membership is only $66 a year, and the first year is free.

I'm not sure if this discount applies to Suboxone the same way as Subutex, or if they cover different drugs in different states, but if you're paying cash for your meds, you could give this a try. I actually called AAA at one point to see if they covered Subutex and they said no, but when Walgreens ran the script through, it gave me a 40% discount. The prescription was around $380 (for 150 2mg generic Subutex) and I got it for $230. It's been almost a year since I've paid for it using the discount card, but it worked in Feb 2013.
