Hi Mel, and thanks for responding. I just read your thread about getting off Sub after 5.5 years. I'm both surprised and impressed. I think you're right, that not over thinking it and not obsessing about the taper makes a big difference. I'm glad you were able to get off with no big issues.

I did have the DNA test done, and there are actually very few ADs that I can take. I also tried l-methyl folate (Deplin) and now I just take an OTC dose of it, because my insurance doesn't cover it. I was put on Viibryd, which seemed to work right away. Unfortunately, I had a severe adverse reaction to it which led to my one and only psychiatric hospitalization.

I will have to check into the Cytomel. I'm always open to new options. The Brintellix seems to be working, and it wasn't on the market when I had the DNA test, so it's a crapshoot.
