For years I've said that all Obama would have to do, to reduce heroin overdose deaths, would be to raise the cap by executive order. Yesterday his HHS secretary did the next best thing-- vow to raise the cap by changing the regulations allowing buprenorphine treatment. Hopefully it will get done quickly. Good news... but it should have happened years ago.

I so hope that others in the government won't somehow prevent it!!

P.S. I can only imagine Trump's reaction to opiate addicts... "They're Losers!" "Who has addictions to things other than money? Not me! If I don't need opiates, nobody needs opiates!!"
