i have read a lot of people having problems with numbness in the arms. i am really interested in finding a solution to this problem!my girlfriend has the same issues...i believe that it is not from the suboxone.because this all started before starting it.i really believe that it is from hitting a nerve with a syringe.i havent read anything about anyone else admitting there use before subs.i really appreciate your answers and concerns.thank you. :( :(

Hi jere34,

Being an old vein tapper myself, yes, I believe an abscess or miss may damage a nerve. Nerves don't like to be touched or messed with so it sounds like that is what is going on.

Go see a specialist for this. There are meds to calm nerves but I don't think there is much that can be done except to wait for it to heal. I say that because just 2 weeks ago I injured my wrist with a small pocket knife. Was working on a project and stabbed my lower arm. The blade went to the bone and I felt it hit a nerve. The top of my hand is numb and my Dr. said there is not much that can be done. I am just waiting for it to heal.

Hopefully, you didn't damage the nerve, maybe only disturbed it. I still say go see a doctor about it. Tell the truth. It's part of recovery.
