I was addicted to vicodin for a year then went to a methadone clinic for one month. I was only at 35mgs a day before going to my doctor for suboxone. I have taken it for two weeks now and REALLY want to stop. How do I do it???

I would start by going to the Stopping Suboxone section and reading the sticky at the top of that page.

Shanbam,

Welcome! Like Amy said, there's lots of info in the stopping section about tapering plans and methods. I have a thread that documents my taper (or at least the end stages of it) using the liquid method. I'm not sure where your dose is at but generally the liquid method is implemented at doses below 2mg.

I'm sure you'll learn a ton by reading others threads! Feel free to ask people questions after reading through the threads, and once you gather your info and devise a taper plan, feel free to start your own taper thread too. I know journaling it out and getting support really helped during my taper experience. everyone on here is super nice and supportive.

Good luck and enjoy reading the wealth of info that is contained on this forum!
