Here is another one my friends. This one pays $75.00 and is all online. If you cannot access the link properly, go to Addiction Survivors forum and click the link there. That's the site I got this from. BTW, that site was recommended to me from Here to Help. Dr. Junig posted a message there and I followed him here. More help is always better.

Here is the link:

10-15 minutes, max. I will continue to post them as I see them come up. I am subscribed to the thread over there.

I believe that if you disclose that you have participated in another study in the last 3 months you will not qualify.

Hi everyone, so I just took the survey and was wondering what your thoughts were about the Bup implant, and if you would be likely to switch to it? My 2 concerns are the price and the fact that they said you may still require additional oral medication. If that is the case then what's the point. Also anyone who uses Sub for pain as well do you think it would still work for pain since now you would be getting very small doses thru out the day?

Since I'm trying to taper I think the implant would be great if you could get it at a really low dose and get out of the habit of taking a pill/strip every day. My guess is that it would be good for pain because it would give a steady serum level instead of the peaks and valleys that the pills give you

I disclosed the fact that I did do a survey in the last three months and wasn't disqualified. I thought the same thing.

The implant sounds good but it will be pricey. I like the fact that it will taper you down slowly. My opinion there was that six months was not long enough to work on your recovery, per Dr. Junig. After six months I was still too sick to be off it so I'm not sure the implant would have worked for me. I guess I'll never know now.

Now let's just see if they pay the money.

I was in the implant study so if you want to know what getting the implant, having it taken out, etc is like let me know. Or read my blog, the link is in my profile.

The study I was in was double-blind so I do not know if I got the placebo or if the implants just sucked, but I failed out of the study because I still needed oral medication to stay out of withdrawals. My best friend was in the same study and the same thing happened to her. I guess it works for some people though.

Hey guys, this honorarium was supposed to be paid in like 2-4 weeks, so I emailed them today. They responded and said the checks were all mailed yesterday. WOO-HOO.

(The other survey we were in doesn't get paid for approx 4-6 weeks.)

Thanks Hat,

I've been watching the mail as a few others from the other forum said they just received them. I suspect the $100.00 one will take some time.

The survey for $100 will probably take some time to receive payment. It did say that the money would be sent at the end of the study which may be a long time. I can still find the link to check up later if too much time passes, but the one who originally posted it will do that first is my guess.

$75 for that short survey was very good money. Bring on more of those!

That $100 survey (according to the other site) I think ended in August, and the honoraria was due to go out 4-6 weeks after the close of the study. So it could come in the next couple of weeks. I still have the phone number we originally called to qualify for the study, so I can always call them and just ask.

It is a nice way to make a couple extra bucks, isn't it?
