I am 5 years stable on 8mg buprenorphine, with no history of illicit drug use or IV use. I prefer Subutex to Suboxen as the latter gives me a low grade headache. Im exchange for my doc writing scripts for Bupe instead of the FDA preferred Suboxen, I am subjected to more urine tests. I understand that it is easier to subvert and that they want to be careful to avoid writing script that go to the street.

The problem is that I have had to relocate to the East side of the Seattle area and need a new doc. But everyone I call wants to put me on Suboxen and wont write Subutex scripts. Despite being stable and knowing what i need for my own health, everyone has a preconcieved treatment plan.

Does anyone have a recommendation for me in the Seattle area? I prefer an out of network doc that will LISTEN to a well documented history of what works for me.
