Hey y'all, I remember posting about this movie months ago in the topic titled ""Drugs, INC" national geographic channel" by Amber. Link: http://suboxforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=5860&highlight=

There were a few people interested in it but for some reason it wasn't available anywhere on the web or DVD. Luckily I just found it and wanted to inform anyone who may be interested now and wanted to check it out. I have yet to see it but I'm going to watch it a little later when I have time. The movie is on Netflix and thankfully is streaming making it available for anyone who has Netflix on their xbox/ps3/smartTV/blu-ray player/etc.

Here are the trailers for the movie on YouTube.

Oh man i watched the trailer to this and it showed that awesome scene of robbing pharmacy. I can't watch this movie just because it brings me back to the time where i seriously considered running into a pharmacy and just snatching as many oxycodone bottles i could and just running. Now i ran a 10k marathon last year. So i got good odds of beating most people on foot. haha, i don't have netflix but if anyone has a way i can stream it online that would be awesome. : D

If you haven't already, you should try the Netflix 30 free trial. I'm not a 100% sure but I think they have it streaming online if you didn't have an Xbox/ps3 or any other device to watch it on. You don't have to sign up or anything after the trial as long as you cancel it manually before that 30 days end.

The trailers do make it look really good, and it is, but whenever the subject is related to oxycodone I am almost immediately interested. So that may be why I enjoyed it for simply just that rather than the general public who can't relate. If you’re somewhat like me, whenever I see some of the old stuff I used to do it is a reminder of the drug whether good or bad. I’m just saying because it may remind you that good result in a trigger or whatever. I should've put that in my first post for everyone to be aware.

Otherwise, I hope you find a way to check it out. Let me know what you think, I’m curious to know how you or anyone else felt about the film as an addict.

just so you know,,,

I didn't feel like it "fantasized" the drug at all,,,,,,,,, it showed many scenes of withdrawl,
emptiness,, the uncontrolable NEED, they did a good job of not making it all "sunshine and roses"

it's more of a crime/drama than a documentary...... I still thought it was good though, because it's sopposidly
based on a true story, and it was a good story, it kept MY attention anyways, which is saying something

Yeah you're totally right. I forgot how much the movie focused on the negatives of the drug use, like to your point, withdrawal and plenty of other measures people have to take to get their hands on the drug like robbery, selling your body, and many of others. It also showed that people end up sick, in jail, and dead.

I'm glad you enjoyed the movie Amber!
